Employee Inclusion Network Banners
agency client work
So here the global energy giant, SUNCOR, came to me via a design agency in Calgary, AB to design some standup banners to represent all of their individual employee inclusion networks. These networks were created to promote diversity and inclusion, all aimed at specific groups of minorities who may have now or historically experienced oppression and marginalization. A wonderful social initiative, and I was tasked through an agency to conceptualize and execute on the visuals for each network. This was the result.
I was tasked with coming up with concepts for all networks to be represented, and concepts for individual networks to be represented. I was only able to get one photo of the chosen All Network Concept, however.

ATCO Invictus Games Magazine Ad

ATCO came to me via an agency, and I was tasked with creating an ad that would appear in a magazine publication, announcing their partnership with the world Invictus Games, a sporting event for Veterans world wide. The subject was Team Canada's gold medalist, Greg Van Olm. I initially started with something bombastic, and bold, done in their brand colours, I felt it appropriate for a sporty vibe and treatment. However, the client came back and asked us to tone it down, so we ran without the background, and eventually arrived at the final version that emphasized the Team Canada national tie-in.
Peanut Buddy Bar
Here is a concept I created for a fictional snack bar, I also created the logo for the Mountain Trail brand, and worked with the die-cut, and then mocked it up in 3D to show what the box would look like on the shelf.
Red Eye Rye
This was a packaging concept that sparked my initial interest in 3D. I decided to take the final composition and mockup up a step further, and model my own liqour bottle. It was a rush! I loved doing it. I wanted to create something that would emphasize the dark, rich, smoky flavour of the liqour contained within, in a visually striking way.
I actually used Adobe Illustrator to model the bottle (weird, right?) and then set up the scene within Adobe Dimension, while using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create the label and art assets.

Shambhala 2017 - 20th Anniversary - Event Poster Re-Make
In class we were asked to pick an event poster from any recent event and remake it in our image. I created this custom illustration that I first sketched out thumbnails by pencil and then further sketched a couple of my favorite concepts by pencil until I decided to put all together via Adobe Illustrator. 4 hours later, I was done.
This was the result.

Snootea Oolong Tea
Here is a project where I really took into account not only the overall design, but the materials used in question. I was going for a 'gloss-on-matte' effect with the black on black elements, and faux-gold leaf for the accents, to give it that handcraft-yet-premium feel. This is tea for tea-snobs. Those that believe it's the superior daily beverage. It'll leave you feeling a little Snoot-ea. ;)
I also show a diecut with a flattened colour palette, to demonstrate what it would look like without the materials applied.

Ad Suite 2022
Here is a suite of ads I had created in school, we were given a prompt, and 1 week to create something. This was the result. All assets were created by me, or photographed. There was no use of stock photography, aside from the Earth for obvious reasons, getting a photo of that by myself might be a tad difficult ;)
